Feb 3rd, 2012 by admin

Oftentimes, when people read through Nikon D3100 reviews, they are trying to find another user whom they can identify with so that they can get a realistic idea about what they would experience themselves by buying this camera. They try to find reviews by someone with the same needs in a camera as well as the same background skills in photography, too. So just who buys this camera and what can you expect from it if you choose to buy it yourself?

When you take the time to read through some Nikon D3100 reviews, you will find that quite a few people who have bought this digital SLR camera are novices who were looking for an easy way to get professional results in their stills and video. In their reviews, they talk about a camera that offers intuitive features such as auto focus on both the stills and video as well as high-end light balancing, too. Some mention an onboard assistance program that they’ve used from time to time, but most just talk about how completely easy it is to point and shoot and get great pictures from the camera.

When you read the Nikon D3100 reviews, however, you will find that some professionals have also purchased this camera. Some were looking for a great back-up camera to use on the job, and others simply wanted to find something to use in their personal lives that delivered great results but that didn’t require them to “work” to get those results. With features like auto focus, a rapid speed shutter, a 14.2 megapixels, a DX format CMOS image sensor for the stills and a full 1080p HD video function to boot, this is indeed a camera that makes it easy to capture great images, and it’s simple enough for anyone to use!

Nikon D3100 Reviews: The Pros and Cons
Dec 30th, 2011 by admin

It’s hard not to notice that the vast majority of Nikon D3100 reviews are overwhelmingly positive, and with so many great comments posted online about this digital SLR camera, you might be inclined to think that it is the perfect camera for you. Before you rush off to get one, though, you should know that there is no such thing as a perfect camera, and this one like others does have its pros and cons. By reading Nikon D3100 reviews, you no doubt will learn that the image quality of stills and videos is fabulous, but there is more to know about the camera than this.

Perhaps one of the top reasons why so many people love this camera is because the Nikon makes it easy to capture high-quality images without hassle. Some people do say they want an affordable camera that gives them professional results, but what they really want is a camera that takes great pictures in almost any situation and without the hassle that is often associated with professional cameras. This model is almost intuitive in how it works because it adjusts to different lighting situations with ease. With this camera, you really never will have another case of an image turning out too dark or distorted because the lighting is wrong.

Some of the Nikon D3100 reviews do talk about cons associated with video capture. In particular, they talk about the image stabilization feature. The fact is that this camera’s image stabilization feature works great in that it captures moving images and brings them to video without blurring the subjects. The issue that users really have is the result of an unsteady hand. The motion of a shaking hand results in a subtle movement of the camera, and image stabilization doesn’t work to correct this. However, you can easily correct this with the use of a tripod when capturing video.

Nikon D3100 Reviews: What You Really Need to Know
Dec 27th, 2011 by admin

If you are reading through Nikon D3100 reviews and are trying to make heads or tails about whether the features in this camera are worthwhile, you are not alone. The camera gives the promise of professional-grade images and videos, but with the low price tag and the completely compact, lightweight design, it can be difficult to believe that the camera is capable of producing professional results. Owners of the camera, however, have commented about the high level of image quality, but what is it that you really need to know about the camera that the Nikon D3100 reviews aren’t covering?

When people say they want professional results from their camera, what they really want is a camera that will give them great photos and videos in a variety of situations with ease. They don’t really want to fiddle around with the fancy gadgets on a professional camera, nor do they want to lug around a heavy camera, either. This one-pound camera gives such great results in large part because it is designed to give excellent images in almost any lighting situation. It really is difficult to take a bad shot with this camera, and that includes indoors in a dark restaurant, in front of the Christmas tree during the holidays, and more.

One thing to note, however, is that Nikon D3100 reviews often claim the camera is perfect, but it does have one downside. One of the most common complaints is that the camera’s image stabilization feature doesn’t seem to work well. The fact is that the camera has a motion feature that allows you to capture moving shots well, but this feature doesn’t work well with a shaky hand. So the motion of a shaky hand is often seen in videos. Many people have gotten around this common issue by using a tripod when capturing video shots.

The d3100 includes a full range of technologically advanced features including a wide ISO range, full HD video recording capabilities, 14.2-megapixel CMOS image sensors and a 3-inch LCD screen.

Advanced DX Format – Known for its fast processing, the 14.2-megapixel DX format CMOS Image Sensor processes images with high-level resolution, resulting in stunning images that can be printed up to 20” by 30”. Providing crisp detail, amazing contrast in intense color, the proprietary image-processing engine EXPEED 2 continually processes images at the highest quality, exposure, contrast, speed, and realistic color, all with virtually no unnecessary noise.

Its split-second shutter response captures images instantaneously without any aggravating delay. Nikon d3100 Reviews Report High Performance and Excellent Photos
Dec 18th, 2011 by admin

In terms of photo quality and vivid color detail, the Nikon d3100 meets up to its claims of high performance. In general, Nikon d3100 reviews are saying that this is a great camera for several reasons. Photographers with all levels of experience can appreciate the performance this camera delivers, even in extreme lighting conditions. You get sharp, clear images of moving subjects. The price is also good at between $549 and $649.

The Features of the Nikon d3100

This is a fairly compact camera, and Nikon d3100 reviews praise the layout. It features a 14.2-megapixel CMOS that surprisingly reproduces images that are clearly detailed with very low noise. The video recording is full HD, and manual control is almost as easy as automatic. The HDMI miniport connector is only usable with HDMI CEC-compatible TVs, which is a slight drawback. Face-priority AF along with the Live View feature make this a perfect camera for active scenes.

Nikon d3100 Performance

Nikon d3100 reviews report high performance with intricate and clear, quality photo production. The main complaint regarding the memory capacity is that there is none. The camera requires memory cards that would ideally be high capacity and unfortunately an added expense. Other than this, the Nikon d3100 shoots professional-quality photos under almost any conditions.

Additional Features

With an ISO sensitivity range of 100-3200 featuring Hi 1 and Hi 2 settings to boost ISO equivalency to 6400 and 12800, high-speed moving scenes are not a problem, nor are lighting conditions. This camera produces image reproduction that is clear and sharp with lively color quality. Another feature is the EXPEED-2 image processing engine for shots with low noise.

Though generally considered entry level, the Nikon d3100 can deliver good results for any level of experience. It is easy to use and the quality of the photos it produces is exceptional.

Canon Rebel T2i Review: Using the Features
Dec 12th, 2011 by admin

After buying a new digital SLR camera and putting its features to use in a real-life setting, I had to take some time to write my own Canon Rebel T2i review. If you are like I was before I bought this, you want to know just what to expect before you buy it. While the almost $700 price tag on this Canon is rather affordable when it comes to digital SLRs, it is still a big chunk of change, so you should know exactly what you will get when you buy this camera. I have owned it for a few months and have used it numerous times both indoors and outdoors, and I want to share with you what I have experienced with it.

First, in this Canon Rebel T2i review, I have to talk about image quality. This camera has a really fast auto focus and shutter speed time, so you don’t have to worry about images being lost because of shutter delay or focus issues. It also has ISO 100-6400, which means it performs amazingly well in both low-light and high-light situations. I have used the camera in so many different settings, and most all of my images have been completely focused and feature the optimal brightness level for ideal exposure. I have not been disappointed with my stills at all

Those who are reading this Canon Rebel T2i review also should know how well this camera performs for video capabilities. The fact is that a lot of cameras feature video capabilities, but the quality of that video sorely disappoints. This camera, however, features 1920 x 1080 full HD, and it also has a 3-inch LCD screen. Using it in real life, I’ve been able to see what I’m shooting on the large screen, and the images have been absolutely amazing. The video is far superior to what I was getting with my old camera, and I have been really pleased with the results.
